What are Pack Walks?

Pack Walks are group dog walks organized by the community. Join others for social walks, meet new dog friends, and explore together.

How does the streak system work?

Walk your dog daily to build a streak. Your streak counts consecutive days with logged walks. Earn bonus XP for maintaining streaks!

Can I add my own spots?

Yes! If you know a great dog-friendly spot that's not on the map, you can submit it. Approved spots earn you XP.

Is Hiking Dogs free?

Yes, Hiking Dogs is completely free to use. Track walks, discover spots, join pack walks, and compete on leaderboards at no cost.

How accurate is the trail information?

Trail data comes from AllTrails and DOC sources, supplemented by community reviews. Always check current conditions and be prepared for changes.

What do the difficulty ratings mean?

Easy trails are suitable for all fitness levels. Moderate trails may have some elevation or technical sections. Hard trails require good fitness. Expert trails are challenging and may require experience.
