Every walk on this map is waiting for a dog to prove it. Do that and the walk carries your dog’s name for good.
Find
Every walk says whether the dog can come, and names the council or DOC page it came from, with the cafes, campsites and dog parks around it on the same map.
Walk
Log it when you go. Harder walks are worth more, and the walks you do every week keep counting every time you log them again.
Bag
One photo of your dog on the walk proves it. The first dog proven keeps the pioneer credit on that page, permanently.
There is a monthly challenge in every main region, a leaderboard for walking and another for the people who help build the map, and a bandana for the ones who go furthest. Reporting a rule that changed or a cafe that welcomes dogs counts too.

We map 1,904 walks across 15 regions, each with the dog access and the authority it came from, real elevation read off the terrain, swim spots, and the nearest dog-friendly campsite. The rules here are strict for good reason, the birds were here first, and knowing exactly where dogs are welcome is how you get out more, not less.
