The campsite is situated amongst coastal manuka forest within 5 minutes walk from Palliser Bay. Can get strong winds.

Getting there
Address: 44 Ocean Beach Road, Rimutaka Forest Park 5373 45 minutes from Featherston, along Western Lake Road. Drive south from Featherston along the Western Lake Rd, and then west on Wharekauhau Rd to the coast. Drive north west alongside Ocean Beach to Corner Creek. Unsealed road for at least 3 km with two stream fords. Suitable for large vehicles. Accessible only from the eastern side of the Remutaka Range. Location Cape Palliser, 38 km south west of Featherston.
