About this campsite
This is a basic campsite in the Hawke's Bay region. Beside the Waikari River, this grassy campsite is a 10 minute walk to the beach for swimming, fishing and boating.

Getting there
From SH2 at Putorino, turn into Waikare Rd and travel 13 km on a gravel road to the road end. It is a narrow gravel road and large motorhomes or caravans are unsuitable. Location Approximately 1 1/4 hour north of Napier.

The boat ramp is damaged and unsafe to use. Working with the community, we are aiming to restore the site and boat ramp.
