About Arcus Loop Track
This moderate-length track follows 3.0 km as a track, near Waikanae in Wellington.
An easy loop from Ōtaki Forks in Tararua Forest Park that crosses the Waiotauru River footbridge and climbs across river terraces and gullies to join the Field Track. It forms part of Te Araroa.
Expect easy going, with around 66 m of climb, pitching up to 24 % at its steepest, and takes about 42m to walk.
Dogs are allowed off the lead on this one.
