Camborne Walkway
Porirua · Wellington · Out & Back
This walk comes from licensed public walk data and is being progressively confirmed against the authorities. Signs on the day always win. Porirua City Council’s own wording: “Porirua City Council, Paremata Beach: between 1 November and 31 March, "From 10am to 7pm: no dogs allowed, even on leash". Outside those dates and hours dogs "may be exercised off leash at any time, between the marker signposts". The restriction applies to the Paremata Beach frontage at the start and finish end of this out-and-back, roughly the first and last 100m where the track drops onto the sand; the walkway itself is a council off-lead dog exercise area for the rest of its length, all year”. Evidence: the rule-setter’s own published wording. How we check dog rules.
