About Dingle Burn Track

Near Twizel in Canterbury, Dingle Burn Track runs 2.8 km as a point-to-point.

A multi-day backcountry tramping track through the Dingle Burn valley in Hāwea Conservation Park, climbing through beech forest to the Dingle Burn Saddle (1,448 m) and connecting to the Ahuriri Valley. Dogs are allowed only from the Birchwood Road/Ahuriri end, not via the Lake Hāwea (Dingleburn Station Road) private-property access.

Graded easy, it stays flat overall, and takes about 33m to walk.
