Near Aniseed Valley in Marlborough, Hacket Track runs 5.3 km.
Follows Hacket Creek from the Aniseed Valley road end into Mount Richmond Forest Park, crossing a suspension bridge on the way to the Browning Hut junction. Mount Richmond Forest Park is a dogs-need-a-permit area across the board, so arrange the permit with DOC before you bring a dog.
Expect moderate going, with around 159 m of climb, and takes about 1 hr 19 to walk.
