A DOC dog permit is required before any dog walks here. Apply to the managing DOC office ahead of time; do not turn up with the dog first. DOC requires a dog permit for the Snowdon Forest tracks, and dogs are not permitted at all from 1 September to 30 November during lambing and calving on neighbouring land.
