This moderate-length track follows 2.4 km as an out-and-back, near Christchurch in Canterbury.

The track climbs through Mt Pleasant Reserve, which Christchurch City Council maps as a leashed area under the Dog Control Policy and Bylaw 2025: dogs must be on a leash to protect animals grazing. Expect stock on the tussock hillside either side of the track, keep the lead on from the road end to the top, and give the sheep their room on the rocky steps near the summit.
