Near Waimate in Canterbury, Sanders Falls Track runs 0.3 km as a track.
A short walk in Kelceys Bush Recreation Reserve, north-west of Waimate in South Canterbury. A gentle climb with some steps leads to a viewing platform at Sanders Falls, passing the historic pipe that supplied Waimate's water from 1915 to 1932, with a side branch to a lookout over the valley (about 20 minutes one way).
Graded easy, it stays flat overall, and takes about 3m to walk.
Dogs are allowed off the lead on this one.
