Can I take my dog on Queen Charlotte Track?
Only with a DOC permit. Dogs may not go on Queen Charlotte Track without one. Dogs are allowed only between Anakiwa and Davies Bay, on a lead and with a DOC permit, and are prohibited on the rest of the track. Department of Conservation has the details.
