About Constant Bay Loop

This short track follows 1.3 km as a loop, near Westport in West Coast.

A short 15-minute clifftop loop near Charleston, south of Westport, with dramatic views of the rugged West Coast and waves breaking over the rocks. Some sections are exposed with drops, so children should be supervised.

It sits at the easy end and gains roughly 13 m, pitching up to 5 % at its steepest, and takes about 17m to walk.

Dogs are welcome here on the lead. DOC’s own wording: “Dogs on a leash only.”.
