Freehold Creek Track is a moderate-length walk of 3.0 km, near Lake Ōhau in Canterbury.
Climbs from the Lake Ōhau Road end beside Freehold Creek into the beech forest edge of the Ruataniwha Conservation Park, on the Te Araroa alignment, with big views back over Lake Ōhau.
Expect moderate going, with around 304 m of climb, and takes about 1 hr 6 min to walk.
