Kaka Point Walk
Otago
Route and dog-access details for this walk come from the Department of Conservation, licensed CC BY 4.0. DOC’s own wording: “This route runs through Kaka Point Scenic Reserve, where DOC's own track page says "Dogs on a leash only. Other pets on conservation land rules." Clutha's bylaw separately requires a leash within 20 metres of wildlife, and the village beach below is closed to dogs between the no dog signs from the northern rocks to the public toilets by the surf club”. Evidence: a hand-checked correction against the authority. How we check dog rules.
