Otago Central Rail Trail: Clyde to Alexandra Section is a point-to-point of 5.1 km, near Alexandra in Otago.
The Clyde-end leg of the Otago Central Rail Trail, running on the former railway formation from Clyde down to Alexandra (rail marker 210). Easy grade-2 walking on a wide gravel surface shared by walkers, cyclists, dogs and horses.
Expect moderate going, with around 5 m of climb, pitching up to 1 % at its steepest, and takes about 1h 1m to walk.
Dogs are welcome here.
