About Skyline Walk
Skyline Walk is an out-and-back of 0.7 km, near Hampden in Nelson-Tasman.
A track that zigzags uphill through a remnant of mixed beech/podocarp forest before emerging onto an open bracken and broom slope, reaching a viewpoint over Murchison township and the Matakitaki, Buller and Matiri rivers.
Expect easy going, with around 139 m of climb, pitching up to 68 % at its steepest, and takes about 22m to walk.
Dogs are welcome here.
