About Kauaeranga Nature Walk

A short, easy 15-minute (250 m) nature walk to Hoffmans Pool in the Kauaeranga Valley, Coromandel Forest Park. A gentle family stroll through native forest near the valley campsites.
It sits at the easy end and barely climbs, and takes about 6m to walk.
Dogs are welcome here on the lead. DOC’s own wording: “Dogs on a leash are permitted on most walking tracks but not the Kauaeranga Kauri Trail, the Pinnacles Track or at Pinnacles Hut.”.
