About Roxburgh Faces Tramping Track
This moderate-length track follows 2.5 km as a point-to-point, near Alexandra in Otago.
A tramping track in Flat Top Hill Conservation Area near Alexandra that drops steeply (about 400 m) with views over the Roxburgh Gorge, native scrub and interesting rock formations. It links the Flat Top Hill Tramping Track to the Roxburgh Gorge Trail through a hot, dry, exposed landscape.
It sits at the easy end and gains roughly 7 m, pitching up to 62 % at its steepest, and takes about 31m to walk.
Dogs are allowed here, on the lead.
